Redemption and dominion over sin

If you read in Matthew 1, you see the genealogy of man and how man began and got to where we are at today.

Matt 1:1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.

This is very profound, that they would be referred to the generation of Jesus Christ and then what is also wonderful is the fact that Jesus Christ was referred to as the son of David and then as the son of Abraham.
What is important is this verse:

Luke 3: 38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

The bible says that Adam was the son of God.

Rewind to Gen 1- 3 and you will read the story of how Adam obeyed the serpent in eating the apple and lost the dominion of ma, he lost the glory.

God sent another Adam to the earth in the person of Jesus Christ. When Jesus had done nothing miraculous while he was baptized by John, God sent a sign to show that he approved of Jesus and a voice from heaven said, "this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased".

From that moment on,  Jesus began to live in dominion over sin, sickness, poverty, and everything else that was a consequence of the curse.

When Jesus rose again from the dead, the glory, the crown was restored back to man, and anyone else who would come under the Lordship of Jesus and back into relationship with God.

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Man fell short of the glory. That glory was the dominion instrument that God put on man. When you come under the Lord, sin has no dominion over you again. The glory is back and the power to live above sin, sickness, poverty and anything that represents the curse, comes and you and you are able to live above it. The glory of God, the one that was a fire for the Israelites at night and a cloud by day comes back to your life. You are no longer short of the glory.

28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

Sin has effects. When you come into Christ, the power to live above the effects of sin is in you.
John 1:12 says that as many as believed on His name, to them He gave the power to become the children of God, that power is still resident in you. That power is the resurrection power of Jesus Christ who is alive in you.

Romans 6: 22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
The bible says you have been made free from sin, believe it. You have become servants of God, what an honour. Believe it. You have your fruit unto holiness, act it. It is who you are. Your end will be everlasting life, hallelujah!
The wages of sin is death. For those who practice sin, you are carrying out a service, tis like a job and your employer (the devil) is packaging your salary, which is death in the various forms that it shows up.
Sin means to fall short...
The bible says that the gift of God is eternal life. This one is not a salary. It is not something you work for. It is something you receive when you come into the family of God by making Jesus Lord.
When you have not made Jesus Lord, spiritually you are in the family of the devil, whether you believe it or not. It does not need your belief to be in effect.
When you make Jesus Lord, you come into the family of God, God becomes your father and now you have access to the inheritance. The Holy Ghost told me years ago that it was the heritage of the sons. You learn how to access your inheritance as you grow up spiritually. That is one good reason to grow spiritually.
When you give your life to Christ as I believe you will, ask someone who is a Christian to get you filled with the Holy Ghost. Or ask a pastor in a BIBLE-believing church to pray with you to receive the Holy Ghost. He comes to you so that you will not feel and act like an orphan when Daddy-God is your father and Christians are your brothers and sisters.
One of the important things you must learn is to start living Romans 12:2 by not being conformed to the world but to be transformed by the renewal of your mind.
This requires saying no to anything that wants you to conform to this world and yes to God.
Your choices determine the type of Christian life that you live.
If you are ready to start, say this prayer:

Lord Jesus I thank You for the proof of your love for me, I thank you for Jesus death on the cross and how that the Holy Ghost raised him from the death and that I make Him Lord of my life, I proclaim Him as Lord and now I am born again. I am a new creation in Christ Jesus and I am seated in heavenly places far above principalities and power, I am superior to the devil and I am now a member of the family of God. Halleluyah, Amen.
To receive the Holy Ghost, Just say:
Holy Spirit, thank you for conviction, thank you for I am not an orphan, Jesus has sent You to me as comforter, helper, standby, legal advocate, wonderful counselor in Jesus name, I receive your help in Jesus name, amen. Thank you because you lead me and guide and protect me in this last days to fulfil your will and purpose in Jesus name, amen

Thursday Video: My heart burns for "you"

Have you known the love of God?
Have you received the love of God?
Have you accepted that God loves you forever?

It does something not just for you but IN YOU.

I am sharing this video by Jesus Culture called Obsession
There is no better obsession to have than the Lord Jesus

Now when you know how much He loves you
There is no setback you cannot rise up from because Jesus has always got Your back
and He always always means what He says
He doesn't waste words

I witness Christ

No one ever recovered from Jesus' love
When you know His love it's like you are standing on a rock that you can't be moved from.
If you don't know Jesus
If you have not experience the love of the Father
Seek Him
You are made forever when you find yourself in Christ

I will pray for you that you will find Him.

Enjoy your Thursday.

Understanding the way...

I think it was in 2010 that I first learned how to exercise patience and understanding instead of letting the steam out of my ears.

I have lost my cool about three times in the last two weeks so I guess keeping my cool is not as important as then. Then the Holy Ghost would keep me silent, it was difficult then to think that I could stay as silent as I did.
