My random thoughts for today - Getting up is a choice.

 Faith is a choice.

The day you chose to obey Romans 10:9,10, on that day you chose to begin walking by faith. If you are not yet saved, the day you choose Romans 10:9-10 is the day you will begin to walk by faith.

You cannot walk by faith until you have received a measure of faith as a gift from God.

God gives you the gift of a blank sheet and on it, He paints only with watercolors and He's rooting for you always and forever.

For me, I spent many years saved but not walking by faith because it is really hard to walk by faith. 

You walk by faith then fall off the horse

You go numb

You get back on the horse and walk by faith for a while

Then fall off again

The secret is to keep getting up. Don't stay down. God did not design the ground for you. He designed the skies for you.

You are made to soar in the sky with the eagles.

Take your place.

The pain of having unmet expectations can make a life of cynicism look very attractive.

When cynicism does not work, then the devil will throw a life of indifference at you. 

If indifference does not work, he will throw sin, and if sin does not work, he will throw doubt, unbelief, fear., etc.

One day the Holy Spirit asked me, what are you afraid of?

As the continual optimist, I said nothing.

Then I listened to a message where a minister said, "Instead of being afraid that the good you want won't happen, choose to believe that it will"

Specifically, he said, "...instead of saying of saying, what if it does not happen, instead focus on what if it does"

I have been winning ever since that day.

Faith is easy.

You simply need to know that when you don't believe God, you are believing the devil, and when you don't believe the devil, you are believing God.

Choose a side and stay there.

I do not know if this strategy will work for you, what I do know is that if you partner with the Holy Spirit, he will send you a strategy that is just right for you.
