LESSONS OF LIFE: You can live above fear

I used to struggle with fear.

I was terrified for a very long time of many things.

The spirit of fear lived in me for a very long time. I was so afraid that I always slept with the lights on no matter the time of the day or night. I could not afford to sleep if I could not see everything around me.

The story of defeating fear is like onoins, in layers. I learned to not be afraid of the dark, of barking dogs and of anything else.

The scripture I used was:

God has not given me the spirit of fear, but the spirit of love, power and a sound mind.

MONDAY WORD: Random thoughts about Christianity

Christianity is known as the great profession.

What are you professing?

A picture of Jesus.

I care more that He walked on water, changed water to wine, wrought mighty miracles than I care if he was white or black if this was really his picture or how some saw Him. I know that He came, He died on the cross for me and He rose again and that is enough for me.

In my eyes, Jesus is beautiful. I hope you see Him as beautiful and a part of your life too.

You know it gets to a point in your Christian life and you know the answer to most things even without seeking out the voice of God.

On the average believer having authority in simple words - my experience

I have always hated crying. 

I feel that crying is weakness. Before I got saved, the only time I cried was when I was so mad I wanted to hit you or when I was extremely hurt I didn't want to be friends anymore.

I saw this post on Facebook that asked about scriptures concerning the Holy Spirit and I lit up inside. 

Follow him to learn more about the glory.

Check a couple of scriptures and could not find the scripture that talks about the Holy Spirit being something more than gold.

Glad I can say that. It was not always that way. Many years ago I was just a little lost kid with much book knowledge and not enough street knowledge.

Seeing the lack in me, I decided I wanted a change. To even see the lack, I had to listen to the words of my then college pastor. 

This word used to phyically hurt me in my heart.

He said, 'the simple go on and are destroyed'.

The beginning of that scripture is Prov 22:3, it says 'The prudent see danger and take cover...'

God would never do that

We are called to liberty
To no longer live according to right and wrong
but according to the law of love

To forgive the unforgivable
endlessly

I refuse political correctness, I choose faith

If you are politically correct, you are not in faith.

If you are in faith, you cannot be politically correct.

Ramparts are falling because the Spirit of the LORD is coming against it as a flood.

Historically, out of every 12 people who belong to God, ten always give an evil report. Only a small 2 choose God over the world system.

I googled how to pray when you are slandered and this is what I came up with so I have added this to my list of prayers. 

Knowing the Holy Spirit as your best friend

Building a relationship with the Holy Spirit is key!
To the word of God coming alive for you

Seek Him
If you ask, He will come.
He's good
He's the best Father ever
